Our Founder and Director, Diane Odegard Gockel has written 9 books about various rescues at Sammamish Animal Sanctuary.  These adorable, uplifting books tell the story of individual rescues and are narrated by the animals themselves! 

Diane has devoted much of her life to rescuing, fostering and adopting homeless pets and now enjoys writing a series of children's stories inspired by real animal rescues.
